Endgame Cast take to the stage.

There are films you watch, and then there are films you experience.

Avengers: Endgame has always felt like the latter.

With the Marvel epic returning to cinemas, there is something genuinely exciting about having the chance to sit in a dark cinema and experience it all over again on the big screen.

For me, Endgame is particularly connected to the feeling of going to the cinema. You can watch it at home, of course, but it just isn't quite the same. There is something about sitting in a packed cinema, seeing that huge screen in front of you and hearing the audience react around you.

The laughter. The silence. The cheers. Those moments when everyone seems to react at exactly the same time.

That is what makes watching Avengers: Endgame in the cinema so special.

When it was released in 2019, it felt like more than just another Marvel film. It was the conclusion to years of stories and characters that audiences had followed for more than a decade. Going to see it felt like an event.

I remember that feeling of anticipation when sitting down in the cinema. You knew you were about to watch something that had been building for years, and there was a real sense that everyone in the room was there for the same reason.

That is something I still love about going to the cinema.

For a few hours, everything else disappears. Your phone stays in your pocket, the lights go down and you are completely absorbed in what is happening on screen.

With Endgame, that feeling is even stronger. The scale of the film, the music, the action and the sheer number of characters all feel made for a cinema screen.

But there is also something quite nostalgic about seeing it again.

Certain moments immediately take me back to the first time I watched it. I remember the atmosphere in the cinema, the reactions from the audience and that feeling of knowing you were watching a film that people would be talking about for a long time afterwards.

It is easy to look at a film like Endgame and focus on its box office, its characters or its place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But for me, the lasting appeal is much simpler.

It is the memory attached to it.

That is one of the things I love about cinema. A film can become connected to a particular time in your life, a particular person or even a particular cinema. Years later, you can watch it again and suddenly find yourself remembering exactly how you felt the first time.

That is why seeing Avengers: Endgame back in cinemas feels different from simply putting it on at home.

It gives you the chance to experience it rather than just watch it.

Some films are perfectly suited to a night on the sofa. Others deserve a huge screen, a great sound system and an audience around you.

For me, Avengers: Endgame is definitely one of those films.

And even though I already know exactly what happens, I would happily sit in a cinema and experience it all over again.

Not because I have forgotten the story.

Because I remember how it felt.
